Hi! I’m Lindsay!
I’m a graphic designer with a Bachelor of Design, specialising in visual communication design. I want to make fun and meaningful designs anyone can enjoy!
I am currently working as a Graphic Designer for North West Auto Group! I love collaborating closely with my clients to create the best product and experience possible. Recently, I was volunteering for Lazy Faire Magazine from the University of Alberta, and working with STJ Acres on their website.
My areas of expertise include UX/UI, typography, and illustration; but my years of art training influence my design practice greatly, and I believe that art and design have a strong symbiotic relationship. My design style is a fusion of illustrative, artistic, and typographic techniques, adding a unique touch to each of my projects. Within my work, my core tenets are rooted in representation and inclusion, and in making design a more empathetic and kinder industry for both designers and our users and clients.
Outside of design, I am also an avid artist and illustrator. I mainly dabble in watercolour, acrylic, charcoal, graphite, and digital art. I love to expand my horizons into writing short stories, playing Dungeons and Dragons, cooking, watching history and anthropology documentaries, and I have recently been getting into hockey. I’m currently based outside of Edmonton, AB where I live with my two cats.
